just wondering how you get the ariel off as mine just seems to keep spining and just fall down to the roof, any ideas pls??

does anyone know how the ariel comes off? it unscrews and pushes back but it doesnt actually come off. any ideas? i want to replace it is all.

Quick question for anyone out there - I unscrewed my old ariel and have noticed it is fastened on a hinge type thingy !!! How do you disconnect this? I felt like I was about to buckle the roof of the car while pulling at it? :cry:

Hi I went back to uni at stupid o'clock in the morning cos I couldnt sleep so thought i would take advantage of the empty roads and this morning i found my ariel had been yanked out of the base and was on the floor next to my car!!! I now have the worst reception ever. Not sure what it damaged...

I never use car washes, but as Tescos are doing buy one get one free on their washes, I took the free one after the gfriend did hers. I took the roof ariel off to prevent damage. The thing unscrewed simply enough. When I went to screw it back on it just won't tighten up. It pops in ok, but...
