easy or cheap

Hi all, I've noticed that the nose + bonnet of the car seem quite susceptable to stone chips. I'm doing more and more motorway driving and when I last washed the car, I really did notice some of the marks. Some obviously polish out with a bit of effort but others have gone through the layers...
