OK, as many will know, the inlet/boost pipe fittings used on the VAG TDIs are prone to popping apart.
If the two small retaining lugs on the end of the pipe get worn or damaged, it's often a downhill slope - once it's happened, it's quite likely to happen again. Each time the joint comes apart...
I searched google there reading up on the best way to seal the joints of an exhaust , and read that when doing so on a stainless steel exhaust its best to use silicone sealent , rather than exhaust paste as the paste does not take to the stainless steel very well ?
Anyone ever heard of this ?
Right, I know there's inner and outer ones.
Can anyone show me (with pictures? :redface:) what they each do - inner ones give suspension movement up-and-down, outer ones give movement side-to-side too?
Also: If I put the Arosa on full lock and move a little, he goes clunk.....is that likely...

Q. Are the outer CV joints on the Ibiza Cupra (AYP) usually done by SEAT as a outer CV change only, or is it a complete driveshaft and inner change as per most other car manufacturers.

Hello All,
Decided to change my ball joints and possibly my wishbone bushes! The car has only done 45k but I have a dodgy clonking knocking sounds that occurs when steering either stationary or moving slowly fowards and in reverse!!
How hard is it to change these can anyone give me a brief...
Well I've been told I need my steering arms, ball joints and top mounts replaced and they might as well change the wishbone at the same time...:cry:
