  1. Pad / disc recommendations, and splashgaurd removal...

    OK...I will shortly be upgrading the brakes on my Passat. They are 288mm as standard, I've got the carriers on order for a 312mm conversion (can use same calipers on this car). Couple of questions: 1) I'm after some recommendations for pads / discs. I want a setup that stops pretty well...

    Hi chaps, this maybe a completely dumb question :shrug: but here goes anyway. When I hyad my Leon Cupra I bought some Pagid FR brake pads (front & rear) for it but never fitted them, will they fit on my LCR calipers ? ta muchly

    hi has anyone got a guide for removal of the seat toledo mk2 tdi 110 brake pad and disc removal only i used the guide for leon cupra but they seem a different set up. i cant seem to get the caliper off at the back of it there are 2 rubber stops when taken off there is a pin with a hole in it...

    break pad wear indicator

    ive just changed the front pads on my cupra r to ebc red stuff. because they dont have sensors the brake light indicator is staying on in the dash. is there any way of switching it off anyway? a fuse or something?

    rear brake pad wear

    I noticed yesterday that my rear pads were much thinner than the fronts and only have about 5mm left after 14000 miles. The rear wheels also seem to get dustier than the fronts. It's a TDi sport with DSG, just wondered if anyone else had noticed similar.

    brake pad sensors?

    do the mk3 cupras have brake pads sensors? as mine are really low now and making a grinding noise but no light has illuminated on the dash, i would have thought it would have had a warning light. any thoughts appreciated

    On looking to find cheaper brake pads for Leon Cupra R I came across the company in the name of Galfer. It so turns out that they are the supplier of 80% of OEM Brembo equiped cars ie,Brembo do not make the pads that are fitted to LCR from new.I can proove this by showing the box thart new...
