Okay so I've had my shiny new (to me!) mk2 TDI Sport since Sunday and it's done little more than put a big smile on my face since then, but one thing is worrying me... I've noticed it's making a strange knackered-wheel-bearing-esque noise in a certain speed band... Basically at around 20mph...

I've a mk2 Leon FR and i've noticed a rumble from the rear, esp at 30-40mph. It sounds a bit like a wheel bearing. It was picked up at the service and a 4wheel geo realignment carried out, but it's still there. Has anyone else got this? Is it just poorly insulated tyre noise? Cheers.

Hi All Just a quickie! I have a rumble from the front end at low speeds. It sounds like a worn wheel bearing sound, but as the car is only 5 months old (16000 miles) I doubt it's that. Is anyone else getting this sound? It's going into the dealer on Saturday for a few other bits, so...
