shampoo

Gday ladies and gents... At work there is a hose point, but due to environmental reasons, it cannot be used to wash cars, as apparently it interferes with a water plant near by... Now what i am looking for is a shampoo which will not cause any adverse effects on the neighbouring water...

Is it wise to use a Wash & Wax shampoo then polish your car, or is it better to wash your car with shampoo only then wax/polish it?

Guys, I've been using Megs Goldclass Shampoo for a while (4L has lasted ;)) Before I go and buy another 4L of Goldclass, is there a cheaper/better alternative ??? Cheers, Andy
