springs or shocks

Just bought some 18s for my Leon Cupra and after the shocks have settled we still have a gap in the arch big enough to fit a small dog in! After searching hundreds of threads im still not clear on what to do......... Im not a fan of coilovers as they are too harsh and a ballache to...

Hey all. im looking into getting some new alloys for my mk1 leon but dont want to change the springs and shocks. just wondered whether 18s would be ok on standard springs and shocks or should i go with 17s??? cheers tan
