Do you think they will go on dealer rotation like the Ateca at launch. Shipped in for a few days then onto the next. Two were doing the rounds then across the UK. At that time they were the LH ones as I recall. They also used the Millbrook proving ground so dealers could try them out.

Need a schedule .

I have been trying to find the ground clearance of Cupra Raval. Some pages say that it is 12,5 cm. Some pages say that Cupra Raval has 1,5 cm lower ground clearance than MEB+ standard value. However, some pages claim that ID. Polo has 17 cm ground clearance. These values don't add up.

Local dealer already did some measurements. He said that 15 cm was the minimum near the rear wheel. 16 cm in the middle.

If this is correct then that would be assuring. I did become a little bit nervous reading about 125 mm ground clearence that some site that posts car specs revealed for this car, I mean that would be 1 cm lower than the 135 mm (lowest point) of my current Mazda 3 even. As an EV car you do get a bit anxious about hitting the underside. Isn't the lowest part more closer to the front typically?

I guess the lowest part is right in front of the front feels as seen here and I wouldn't be suprised if it was only like 125 mm there but that's some non critical plastic stuff probably and at least it slants upwards to help with the speed bumps, the battery itself looks to be higher at least: https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/media/35_cupra-raval_imd-jpg.1933/full

I'm sure I read somewhere that it was lower than it's sister ID car. Probably been dropped if so to appeal to sporty Cupra drivers. If not pre ordering, if concerned it's a ruler job with that and the other contenders. You are reminded of when you see those dropped sporty cars trawl over speed bumps . Probably not as bad as that, Cupra wouldn't want all their PCP cars sustaining underside damage.... you would hope. Fleet devaluation.

Just had an email saying you can now pre order the Raval well I wasn't able to just a quote, one thing its £90 if you want a second key.

Bit cheeky to unbundle the cost of the second key. Sure it's not a "third" key.

Pre-ordering does get you ahead. I had sat in a LHD Ateca at Silverstone Fleet event well before they went round dealers. Where I'm trying to find out whether some taster showroom cars will be shuffled around dealers for people to have a look at. By that staged I had ordered the Ateca. Other than that you have to look out for trade shows and motorshows. It was on this fine board that I was tipped off about the Fleetworld event in 2016 .

Local dealer can now take pre orders here in the UK, £500 fully refundable deposit.
Dealers might be getting left hand versions for customers to view but that could be in July.

Well you need the second key incase the first one breaks, battery goes flat or loose it etc. The second key obviously let's the other half in... once you can trust them with it . Handy for loading the car.

Wonder what percent of people never use the second key.

Need a different source of photo for those seats. I recall I sat in Alcantara seats in the Ateca back in 2016 which they never sold in the UK at the time you had to have leather then on the top of the range. They (leather) have lasted very well, but veggies don't like them. You have to take a gamble if you pre-order but soon after the options were withdrawn on the Ateca so you couldn't order the kitchen sink and everything else. They got tired of building cars to customers own spec rather than bulk building them. 5 months was the build time then from order to delivery so it depends on when they start building RHD cars. The launch specials are always built first so they can get them out. Production switches to RHD and any launch specials get built as a priority. With these "ID" cars it looks like they will all appear in the showroom about the same time. Wonder how the production line works. Three or something lines running. Skoda, Cupra and VW. Someone will probably chip in. On cost it was always said that n'th many months must pass till discounts kick in. Quite a few.
