After driving the car the other day I noticed it was blowing very hot air so turned the temperature down. It had no effect and continued blowing very hot air. Even with the air con on, it was hot.

A VCDS scan brought up the following fault

01271 - Positioning Motor for Temperature Flap (V68)
41-00 - Blocked or No Voltage

Now I have done some (a lot) of searching but cannot answer a simple question...where is it?

There are videos on YouTube showing it's movement but not EXACTLY where is it located.

I have the glovebox and centre console removed but cannot see it. Not sure if it is under the bonnet or inside the car?

Any help appreciated, thanks

OK I think I have found it and it seems to be moving fine when the temperature is changed. More investigation needed.
