Hi, please bare with me as i am in no way mechanically minded. first things first, i have an 02 leon cupra 1.8 20v t, which i aquired a few months ago and love it! the leon has revo stage 1 software installed and i have an sps 2 switch with it. the car is completely standard otherwise.
now, if i was to go to stage 2 revo, what sort of bhp figure would i expect to receive after i have done the necessary modifications, eg dynatwist, dump valve, milltek etc? also does the clutch or anything need to be uprated to handle the extra power?
as for the dynatwist, if i was to fit this alone, would it in anyway impair the performance of the map which i have already or improve ever so slightly, and also do you encounter any engine management light problems with a dynatwist or similar?
thanks to anyone with advice.

I have 52 plate mapped to 275 on stage 2 and it still has same clutch it was mapped 15000 miles ago thats all i can tell you

The dynatwist will improve the breathing of your car therefore it might improve the performance of the map. It definately won't hurt it and shouldn't throw up and fault codes.

i had similar at one point. sports cat and dynatwist and a custom map which got me around 240bhp.

i`d imagine 230-240:shrug:

cant get much more as turbo/manifold max out.

fast car with those mods.

dynatwist shouldnt throw any codes and wont impeade performance. doubt it adds hp but might make it respond better. lots of lc`s running them.

if youve money left over a rear arb will help keep the rear feeling solid

cheers guys, think i will get a dynatwist in the next couple of weeks, any reccomendations on good internet etailers for prompt reliable service?

thanks, changing the subject slightly, as you know i have an sps2 box, it is currently set on no.2, can i just plug it in, follow the instructions and switch to 3 or 4 to get the best out of it or are they only for modified vehicles? The car was remapped by the first owner so i am a bit vague on this? Sorry for being a bit dumb!

had a look, from my understanding i can switch it to no.3 as i am using ultimate unleaded, and it states no.3 is for use with 98 ron? also it adjusts the timing to 5, what does that mean? can someone clarify this?

can somebody clarify what the 'timing' adjustment is from '0' to '5' and what affect it should have? sorry if this is so simple:redface:

std settings.. assuming 0-9 settings.
ign 4 for 95 ul
ign 6 for VPower
boost is 6 as stock setting
