02 Leon Cupra...

Hi folks, picked up this Mk1 Leon Cupra a few weeks ago so thought I'd post it up...

So far, the mods include...
Staggered width 18" BBS CH reps which I'll be refurbishing back to silver in the near future.
H&R 50mm springs and Cupra R shocks all round.
Milltek cat back with resonated middle section.

Plans are to fit a non resonated centre section and decat
Coilovers and a Forge DV.
Other than that, it'll just be general tidying up of the body work etc.

Toyosport downpipe and decat fitted as well as Forge 007.
Car sounds great and the turbo spools up a lot easier since the exhaust mods.
Also got around to refurbishing the wheels in silver...

I've bought facelift Cupra bumpers and skirts, picking them up next weekend and should hopefully have them painted and on the car the following week.

I can't help but think that 18's look too big on the prefacelift Cupra but when it's kitted they look about right

Look forward to seeing the kit on etc

Possibly verging on too big for the current styling yeah but it should look spot on with the facelift bits on.

I really like that, very clean mate. Also echo the comments on the wheel colour, BBS CHs (reps or not) have to be one of the nicest wheels about

Picked up a pair of facelift Cupra bumpers and skirts today, wrong colour so hopefully get them prepped and painted over the next week while I'm on holiday.

I'm still considering coilovers but I'm enjoying the handling as is with the Cupra R shocks & H&R springs so we'll see.
If I do go for coilovers, I won't be going a huge amount lower.

The Cupra bits I picked up were in a right state, repairs needed on both bumpers and one of the skirts.
Been working through them on my lunch for the past week or so and got them in high build tonight after work.
Should get the primer flatted and have them ready for paint on Tuesday/Wednesday so should really be fitting them next weekend.

Still missing a jacking point cover if anyone has one lying around they'd be willing to sell?

Six and a half hours of prep work so far and they're finally ready to be painted!
I plan to paint them tomorrow if I have time.

Just the door trims to colour code now but I'm loving the new look...
