1.2 tdi Limp mode with no EML or codes

Hello,

Was driving home from work the other day and the car suddenly lost power & would not go over 3000 revs it sounds like the exhaust might be blowing a little at the front although it is not. The eml light has not come on and there are no fault codes!

Would really appreciate any help as to what this could be, thanks.

Managed to have a closer look today and there is exhaust gasses exiting from around the turbo area but can't pinpoint where from! From what i can see does not appear to be manifold gasket or dpf pipe.
