In 1.2 TSI (CBZB) you have to pull ignition cable of the spark plug (they are fitted vey well, so you have to pull hard), and then unscrew spark plugs with long 16mm socked wrench. Whole operation shouldn`t take you more than 30 min. You have to be carefull with unscrewing spark plugs because you might break the thread)
For reference, this is something like what your trying to pull out. Generally, they will be in tight and require a fair amount of force. Usually there is a metal bit near the end to pull on (so you don't pull on the actual cable itself). Effectively your trying to work that rubber seal up a bit at a time (sometimes twisting it side to side as you pull eases it up).
