Sheesh. Seems like it could be a big job. I would presume that there would be a size issue. Potentially a mounting issue too. I'm pretty sure that none of the 6j 1.2's came in a 6 speed. (Maybe the diesels?). There could be a mapping issue (Not sure if it would make any difference or not). Not to mention I bet it would cost a fortune. I suppose it probably COULD be done but it will come at great hastle and cost (Im not an expert but this is what i could imagine it being like). PERSONALLY, my advice would be to stick with the 5 Speed. I don't see where a 6 speed would
help in anything really. The 5th gear in the 5 Speed's are actually pretty deep gears so the Revs aren't massive at motorway speeds. If you really want the 6spd then there are probably people about that will do it for you. Unless you are going to take on the challenge yourself..... ;-). I apologise if this comes across negative and like im just trying to put the idea down. That isn't my intention. I'm just trying to advise you on what I would do faced with the same issue.
