So I own a Ibiza 1.2 TSI Fr (2013) , I have a issue where the car randomly looses power and triggers the epc light. It goes once i restart the car , Ive done a obd check it says cylinder 4 misfire p0304. I changed my spark plugs it fixed the issue temporarily but now its back
My garage says my coil pack looks fresh and they believe its the turbo getting in oil when it shouldnt be ? something like that

Has anyone had a similar misfire or a epc issue on their car?

I dont know much about cars so want different opinions and want to avoid having to install a new turbo if i dont need one , I wouldve thought a misfire was a simple fix

Cant see how turbo oil would cause a misfire in one cylinder. Does that engine have individual coil packs on top of each spark plug? If so then swap coil packs 3 and 4 and see if the misfire moves cylinder.

If it's a direct injection engine then sometimes carbon build up on the back of the intake valves can cause random misfires

Another garage tested the coil packs said its not the issue , so now thats coil pack and spark plugs ruled out. Ive ordered a new fuel injector to try out.

Another garage told me I might need a new engine something about compression

You'd have to do a compression test and see it there is a problem with cylinder 4, however if that was the case usually the problem would be constant, not intermittant.
