Hey guys what power does 1.2tsi run after a remap and what upgrades are normal to do on one?

Hello i have the 1.2 tsi fr on a 12 reg and im actually getting it remapped today. The gains will be from 105hp to 129hp and 129 lb ft torque to 179. Thats what ill be gaining with the guy near me who does remaps. So a very decent jump for such a little engine. Ill post a pic of dyno run before and after

I have a manual gearbox mate. Just got it remapped and wow what a difference! Really wakens the car up, really smooth on the overtakes. Wouls definately recommend to anyone

I have a chip box installed on my car which produces 134HP and 220nm of torque and really makes a difference to the car 2nd gear doesn't half move now.

I have a dsg box and mines mapped. Car is so much better for it. Have had it for about 8 months now with no trouble at all. Graph below.

I havint seen anyone on here who has got a chip box like me just as good as a remap if not not better because you can remove it when ever you want and the car will go back to normal output.

Each to their own, many would say remaps are better!
