You could easily put a T shaped junction in the pipe if you dont have the battery in the front hand have one inside the engine bay pointing down or to the passenger side and the other one still enclosed in the box.

iam not a fan of a twintake on a 1.4tsi also , i mean even if you have 3 filters and huge pipework on it it still end in a 2" plasik pipe , and the more pipework you got the more stuff can heat up .

i`d say Non lolforge kit . with a straight pipe that doesnt goes through half of the engine bay and a good sized Airbox + everything heat taped even if the look suck then
