Hello guys, I am new here and really impressed with it all...

I have a MK3 ibiza with 1.4 16v engine..
as a good pricing deal, I can get (AGN) 1.8 20v non turbo engine out from Skoda octavia.
Sadly I told that the swap couldn't be performed due to engine and gearbox mounts!

my question is: Can I put (AGN) engine from Octavia in my Mk3 ibiza? :help:

Thank you for help and advice

What about engine mounts?

I know it is not fast enough.. but that's all deals available for me.

Also, Which gearbox and mounts to use? are they different in Skoda than ibiza?

lot of thanks anyway :)

Hmm... actually it is not easy to find one in Egypt :( ,
she is not imported by the official dealers as she is not suitable for granny's market!!

Modifying silly one is more practical but still hard and funny, also making it unique piece in the town.

Brakes?

Which brakes should be suitable?
The car currently equipped with standard rear discs, and front ventilated 256mm from Golf MK3.

I heard that 280mm+ could be fit without changing the spindles but just with suitable spacers
Correct me please if am wrong. :help:
