105bhp 1.2 tsi remap to 135bhp

Hello all, I’m wanting a stage 1 remap doing to my 1.2 tsi, just wondering if anyone has encountered any issue after mapping their Ibiza’s,

Hi mate - I've got a 14 Plate 1.2 TSI FR - had an Avon stage 1 re-map done at a local (to me) specialist. No problems at all - indeed, the car felt much more alive. Pulled better throughout the rev range - economy has stayed the same - win/win! Don't know where you are in the country, but if you're in the North West, search for ADS Preston and ask for Dave Massey.

Thanks for the reply Simon, I have the exact same car same year also, it’s very tempting and after reading your opinion And others I’m going to book it in today, can you get a Remap taken off?

ADS always store the original map, in case you ever need to restore it. Any reputable company / mapper should do the same. Are you using ADS?

Yes your gut is close to me only 25 mile away so I will go with him, how much more bhp did you get mate?

...went to 135 from 109 (actually better than Seat claim - not unusual for VW).
Have you got ADS's number?
