105ps 1.9tdi tuning

Hi

Am i reight in thinking that 105ps is the same as 105bhp?

If so whats the best way off getting more power from it without going to mad on the price. Was thinking off a chip but not sure how much more power id get for my money?

Close enough - think it works out at 104bhp

Remap is your best bet - P-Torque will do it for around £265 i think - 1.9TDi PD 100bhp should give around 30bhp and around 50lb/ft torque increase

For the PD105 give RS tuning a call. I know of a lad who had his done there. It made 150+ bhp and i believe around 250 ft/lbs of torque. Needless to say it shifts a bit now.

As Tom. has said, RS Tuning recently mapped my mates Caddy van, made 155bhp and 265lb.ftish, mated with a 5 speed box, its a weapon now!

He used to own a 6 speed PD130, in a Ibiza with a remap on it, and he says it now feels like that again!! Very good map imho

The last one of these we tuned made 157.6bhp and 254lbs/ft torque.

This is £265.00 all in for members, including before/after dyno runs

Is there anything else needs doing to the car when this is done and how does it efect fuel useage?

No, the Stage 1 software does not require any other mods.

Your MPG will improve slightly, usually by 3 - 5MPG on average
