I presume that you are meaning the Ibiza sport and FR models. If so they are both PD130's as this refers to the engine.

I believe the only real differences are down to the gearing as both have the 6 speed box on em. I think the sport has slightly longer gears so it doesn't quite have the low down acceleration, but has slightly better top end.

Having said that thought the difference will be marginal so down to the drivers really not the cars.

guess you mean 130pd sport?
if your talking about pre 2006 facelift,

the difference are

body kit FR has a slightly different one to the sport
alloy wheels i think the FR's are a inch bigger and nicer imho
chrome mirrors on FR version
Power is the same 130bhp 229lb-ft

basically the FR is the sportier version than the sport!

FR is group 8 insurance
sport is group 7

search google images for loads of pics of both models.

Also a search on here wouldnt go a miss!

Difference between Sport and FR (2005) isnt much, as said above the gearing is different, FR quicker low down, Sport top end (in theory)

Styling, FR whent all honey comb, alloys imo looked better still 16's tho had the new rear lights, on the inside if you got a late model fr, came with a nice new style steering wheel with radio controls, mp3 player etc but the fr had different seats imo nicer and had titanium (spelling?!) on the wing mirrors and interior around driver controls ( Its the FR ting!! )

only on the early models^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Once the FR was launched, "sport" became an entry level spec, but with alloys and a half cast engine (1.4petrol, or 100bhp diesel)

only subtle differences in visual spec between 03 130 sport and 04 130 FR, then, with the facelift, there were some cosmetic changes.
17"alloys
steering wheel stereo controls
lux pack (foldy mirrors, headlamp wash, rain sense, auto mirrors etc)
new bumpers
aero wipers
MP3 stereo
aux ipod dock(on the one we're getting)
+ whatever i've forgotten

Remembering that the MP3 Stereo and Steering Wheel Controls can be found on later models of the FR (before 06 spec) just to confuse you more :D

And they don't always go together - my '54 FR has an MP3-compatible CD player but no steering-wheel controls.

Yet my 54 plate FR does have the steering wheel controls! Guess they couldn't make their mind up?

The FR also has stiffer springs than the Sport, a thicker anti roll bar and different rear suspension mountings.

Later FRs lost the third centre sun visor (mine's got one:p ) and they may or may not have heated mirrors. FRs also have chromed twin tailpipes.
