my bost jumps up and down but when hot holds boost alot better.

so a boost leak could do this but would it bring this code up.

ok let me no what jabba say about it once they have had a look mate

Well I would make it run shite if there was a slight leak on full chat and a big leak would normally make the car stall or overfuel and stink of rotten eggs

I had this prob the other day i had the tcs and engine management light on and boost was not hitting peak. Had the manifold changed so first thought was the actuater was not measured and put back incorrectly so messed about with that but still boost would some times hit peak and other times not so i had to the change maf and air mass meter which got the lights off the dash but boost was better but not correct so got a new n75 from seat and it was sorted full correct boost!

i get the the engine light on for the removed sai system every now and then even with resistors just delete it with my ebay bought vag reader

Are you getting the cold start ok or is it at low revs from cold??

Had the same problem since I had mine mapped (few weeks after).

Same fault code and same constant aligning of tb. Mine is t that bad though, it doesn't judder but it just feels flat on boost, but boosts fine.

Going to move the filter and maf, reset the code and maybe change the maf back over the Ibiza element (running lcr 3").

And if that does t sort it, it's back to jabba to see what's what. Unless someone sorts it before me!

Same mate i've got a TT maf did't relise it had the ibiza element. changed that and it was ok

Cupraelliot you should have a mk3 maf element fitted to a 3" housing.

If you have a 3" maf element it won't boost correctly iirc.

I'm sure I've quoted that before as iirc the different maf sensor gives the wrong signals and confuses the ecu

It boosts fine, just feels flat. I logged the maf and the readings were low, but I don't know if it's down to the element or dodgy maf, it was mapped at jabba on that maf.

I get the tc light coming on and staying on when I floor it, only goes off when I turn the ignition off.

I can clear the code and it won't cone back on till that tc comes on and stays on, doesn't even have to break traction.

(code is: 16487 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70)
P0103 - 35-10 - Signal too High - Intermittent)

ive got this code at the moment, only comes when giving it some from about 3k up in 4th n 5th

done lots of searching, came across this old unconcluded thread.....

does anyone have the answer? any help much appreciated,

it had a new maf a few months ago.
