Just wondering from ppl that have done it. i know you get about 205-210bhp but what does that translate to in 0-60 60-100 times. In short is it worth the £300. and also has anyone had any problems after the remap with warning lights.

I've been running remapped for about 6 months now. Absolutely no problems at all and it certainly made a difference. One of the problems I find with remaps is you soon get used to your new found power and you get onto a slippy slope of wanting more! 0-60 times I would have thought drop down to around the Golf mk5 GTI times. In fact I've had a few opportunities with a couple of Golf GTI's and proved it. And of course 30-50 and 50-70 feel much more sharp. I like seeing peoples faces now when I get on the motorway and floor it in 3rd to watch peoples faces as they dissapear in my rear view mirror. What people with the De-DPF and stage 2 map must feel must be immense :D

Is your engine a 170pd or cr? Also what remap are you running matey?

I've been running a remap on my TDI FR for coming up to 3 years... no problems!
(I've got a PD engine)

had my remap done by p-torque (http://p-torque.co.uk/)..... Will (p-torque tuner) use to offer discounts to the forum users, no idea if he still does....

0-60 Times are hard to get with a DE-DPF'd Leon like mine as 1st,2nd and 3rd are Wheelspin gears so waste lots of time spinning off the line

IIRC My best 0-60 time @ GTI International was around 6.5s Runs where alot slower than possible tho as it was impossible to get off the line, Ive since fitted better tyres and it launches slightly better

Torque insert has been fitted aswell but you deffo need Uprated Engine mounts as the Wheel hop is quite bad

I too have the pd engine. I'm looking for a stable remap as what I've been reading is that certain pd engines have DPF issues when they are remapped and I don't want to go with a DPF delete ive been there done that, had issues with DPF light and car going into limp mode.
I'll look into p- torque...

I went for the **************** Map and its pretty good so far. I also have the self tuning system (STS) so I can take it back to normal if I need to in about 4 minutes :)

Find that difficult to believe? - anyway, 30-70 is where it counts, overtaking times!

Yours was Nick's ya? Did you Re-DPF?

Yes it was nick who I brought it off, with the delete she was ace but I soon had issues with the DPF light then car going into limp mode so I took no risks and had the DPF back reinstalled.

Now with no map I really miss the power!!!
