Hi everyone......well the saga continues......... last year found my head gasket or so i was told my head gasket was shafted..... white smoke etc. So got that sorted and well week later smoke came back........Garage tried to say turbo was going so went another garage and they said my head was how shall i put it.....f88ked....no idea how the garage missed the crack on the inside on the inlet but hey ho.......
So eventually on going like a couple of months later after 2nd rebuild got my car back and well had a shocking 24 fault codes which well the muppets hadn't cleared and that where the saga began with 17705........
So since then i've took matters in to own hands........sorted the bypass which they screwed up currently gone for the approach of leaving the bits connected and sai/combi removed and piped the dv to inlet instead of fpr which the garage did.
Brought a new maf and that made things better and replaced the pcv valve today and thought wahooo 0's across the bored which i hadn't seen for a while and then it slowly started to go negative on me.......from - 0.36 up to -2.34 which was better than the -9.58 for pre valve replacement.
Now it's the usual cold start and 17705 appears the car goes limp till temp at 90 and i clear the fault code and then boosts fine and you can feel the turbo but then when the negatives appear on bank 32 it has a short flat spot.
My pcv hoses are silicone and have been for a while but i've got a catch can to go on and a replacement 90 deg bend also i've tried a different n75 and well the TB is clean and calibrated......... now this can only leave the following:
a) Remap is screwing the car as that was tweaked after rebuild.
b) pancake ...hockey puck whatever you want to call it is causing me issues.
c) I could have a leak on my fmic but well everything is tight.
d) erm any other ideas lol.....bar smoke test?
