Only had our Leon just under 2 weeks and today we finally collected it from the Bodyshop and it's looking awesome, my vision is starting to come together...

If you remember on day one of owning it i had a Stage 1 remap. Well 2 days later i took it in to my fav local bodyshop to have a full BTCC bodykit including the twin exhaust fitted (I preferred that to the K1 single exit). While it was in there i also got them to spray the badge on the front in black :)

I also got a set of VMR 710 19" Alloys from a forum member for my RS4 so i ordered a set of Goodyear F1 Asymmetric for them and had them fitted at the same time. The difference from a week ago is night and day...

It's currently sitting a little high (ok, waaaay too high lol) but it'll be on a set of KW v3 coilovers very soon.
Friday it's booked into my local Seat dealer to have the rear lights upgraded to the LED ones, i've also been in discussions with a guy on my RS4 forum that makes led lights for the interior and the number plate which don't error the canbus, i have them on my RS4 and he's doing them for me now for the Leon, if they work as perfect as on the RS i'll pass on his details here :)

A Triple R splitter is ordered and should be with me and fitted very soon and i'll also be booking it in to have the rear windows tinted darker soon, probably next week sometime fingers crossed...

Exterior thats about it for now i think, next on the list is a limited slip diff as it's struggling keeping the power down... here's some pics of before and after :)

I've had a cupra with the BTCC kit and one without and I think i prefer it without. Front looks mod aggressive IMO!!

Wheels look well nice

What u doing with the original ones?

Looks great. Everything flows now, im guessing they are 19's they work very well. Ive got btcc and always considered getting fr bumper as some colours really look good however in this case yours looks better now

It looks loads different, I like the wheels they're nice colour as well. It's going to look even better with the splitter on and lowered.

I thought it was lowered already but maybe that's just where the wheels are bigger

Both look great IMO

Good job on the car is such a small amount of the

I think it looks very nice. If you don't mind me asking where did you got the btcc kit from and the cost of it?
If being too nosy please let me know.

Cheers guys, am well happy with how it's progressing, i'm so impatient though though, i just want it all done now lol..

I just think that the Cupra in standard form is too similar to the likes of the TDi etc.. the BTCC kit really separates it from the crowd... it was always going to happen, i wouldn't have got the Cupra without putting the kit on :)

Oi nosy.. haha, just kidding, i got it from my local Seat dealer bud, it's all OEM...

We did have to change the grill though as that didn't come with the kit and the standard Cupra one was around 2 inches too small. The new one also came with a chrome surround and a larger badge so these had to be sprayed black....

Thanks for the reply.
Reason I asked is I've seen some kits on eBay and wondered if you'd got it from there.

Hmm, not sure i would want a copy if thats what they are.. the money you save on it will be absorbed in the extra work involved fitting it and it'll probably never be a perfect either...

Having owned a Red Leon 1.6 with a BTCC kit and a white FR without,

I am amazed how good yours looked before the BTCC kit it just has a more aggressive overall look especially the front. In saying that its hard to deny the BTCC has an INSANELY nice look about it as well and I would if I had free cash lying about would properly put the full kit on mine also but I did manage the rear spoiler which at least finishes off the rear:

I guess they are copies. Full kit is around £675 IIRC.
