Hi guys I've just bought a 2000 Toledo for driving up and down to uni in. There's a fault with the fuel gauge as it's sitting at zero, as well as the temp gauge, is this a common problem? And what is the best option for a fix? Thanks!

Hi, What engine is it? Does everything else work on the clocks?

Thanks for the reply JC, it's a 110bhp and yes the rev counter is fine as is the mph! Only the fuel gauge and temp gauge aren't working :(

Sorry but im really not sure with that, i would assume its something electrical, if the needles moved slightly you could put that down to something mechanical atleast :/

That's okay! Yea I heard the electrics aren't the best in these models so hopefully it's a fuse or something! One more question, the car has been remapped(it's a Tdi 110 remapped to 130) and the turbo is whistling quite loud, decat and a small hole in the centre section of the exhaust, will any of this damage the turbo? I'm such a diesel noob lol
