Hi :)

Could anyone tell me what the coil pack firing order is. I read it was 1342 but i changed number 2 as that was the problem and the same code has came back. I have later read that its recommended to change every coil pack and not just one. Any help would be much appreciated :D

A lot of 4 cylinder engines are 1342, with cylinder 1 being closest to the cambelt, and cylinder 4 closest to the gearbox. What code do you have? misfire?

what would be the easiest/cheapest way to diagnose the problem 100% i bought the car with a slight misfire but it never effected anything. only now want it resolved with the light coming on a couple of time.

Process of elimination. Its either, spark, fuel or compression related, so you need to check it has each of these.

Have you replaced the coilpack on cylinder 2 with a new one or swapped it with one of the other cylinders? When were the plugs last changed?

Next thing i would do is remove the sparkplug and inspect it's colour, then test the coil and plug to see if they spark. If you have spark, then it's either fuelling or compression related.
