Hi guys, got a bit of a problem, the car was a bit jerky on boost so I changed the N75 to one from my mates TT, it was the same part number and it worked better but still hiccuped every now and then, so ordered what I thought was a Eaton N75 from ebay and when it came it was just some random generic sensor with no writing on it at all so I gave it a try anyway and there was no jerkyness and no hiccups, drove fine but boost was peaking at 10psi (im stage 1), so sent it back for refund and got a Febi N75, and now it runs great no jerkyness or hiccups but it seems to peak at 16psi and hold at around 14psi.
im pretty sure with my old N75 and with the one from the TT I was peaking around 18psi and holding at 15psi, is there anything I have to do (like ecu reset) for it to let the new
N75 work at higher boost? or is it just because its not an original part?
I cannot find an Eaton VW N75 anywhere except second hand and my local dealers said they cant get me the part anymore, I really dont want to buy second
hand as the one I got off my mates TT exhibits the same problem just not quite as bad as my own one was.
