Was looking at a Fabia VRS before ... but decided against due to the prodominantly white interior

Well after popping to see this car, I won't be purchasing this one, they had added £200 to the original sticker price with it being a bank holiday and there was substantial flaking paint to the front bumper and also the bonet, with a couple of small rust patches.

This one looks quite good for the money if it's as good as described, like mine is the fr+ so it has cupra r style bumpers and wheels

Just a couple I found that I would look at if I had £4000 instead of £3000

I got about £4k and I can also throw my current car (2007 Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 Active White, 42.5k on clock) into the mix as a part-ex and yeah not too keen on the yellow

it all depends on what your after, i went for the mileage which came to 53k, around 2 months back in black for £4200, but he had it up for £4800. the grey one looks like a good bet as its had the cambelt done, but you need to find out if it has had the waterpump changed at the same time and if there are recipts to prove this. the black one is really nice and depending on the mileage you cover 15k extra miles really doesnt equate to alot. i have also heard that from 04 onwards they dont suffer from the camshaft wear problems of the earlier models. if it where me i would go for the black one as i am currently trying to source the pieces to make mine into a FR+ with the cupra bumpers, but the front bumper alone costs £400+ painting as the didnt make the cupra r in my paint code. and the wheels are roughly £500 with tyres. let alone the leather etc!

hope this helps

i wouldnt particularly say that the front seats looked bad in that black fr+ but the back is a bit worn, thats the problem with leather, hence why im getting a cupra r interior in fabric not leather :)

i think it is , you can always knock them down, make sure there is proof of Belt and water pump change if not ask for a lower price , belt kit and water pump change is normally around £350

i would say thats around £1000-£1500 too expensive, they cant even get the wheel size correct, assuming those are the FR+ wheels at 17" it also looks like there is a worn drivers door side leg bolster wearing badly , like mine is at the moment which makes it extremely uncomfortable to drive with a metal bar digging into your leg, thats just my 2p

that's about right for a low mileage Fr anything less than that £1000+ ect your looking at well over 100k easy, any low mile good Diesel car holds it's price theses days,
the bolster does not look that bad maybe the cloth worn, even so worth a look

I'd say that's ok on price, not £1500 over priced but you could probably blag £3-400 off it. I don't know why, but the fr seats seem to wear much easier than any other mk1 leon seat.... I've had an fr and at 63000 the bolster was work quite badly, and I put half leather toledo seats in it and they were perfect! Also my cupra r now is in 64000 and the seats perfect!
