Thanks to this forum I discovered the '07 Leon's didn't come with an engine cover, however I have seen others buy a Mk5 Golf/A3 cover and fix it on.
Can I just ask will an engine cover reduce noise at all? Also, when looking for an engine cover, is the foam/sponge inner important or is it ok to buy a cover without?

Would any of them fit, and which one would you go for?
Also, where would I get the bracket rubbers or screws or whatever to secure the engine cover in place?
My engine code is BKD, it's a PD140, have I got that right?
I'm sorry for asking a lot but this is my first ever car and I want to look after and cherish it, I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time on this forum and if you guys can give me some guidance it would be greatly appreciated.
