Does anyone want a cheap run-around or maybe a project car?
Car is in need of some cosmetic TLC following change of priorities over the past 12 months.
Car used to be routinely hand washed, checked over and vacuumed monthly - went to adhoc cleans.
Since Spring 2025 I've noticed the issues after returning to my monthly car cleaning routine.
Car has mainly covered motorway mileage following the pandemic (using wife's car for short journeys) so healthy DPF regenerations and engine regularly getting up to operating temperature / cooled down correctly.
My car usage has significantly dropped since Summer, which makes it difficult to justify keeping a diesel for shorter journeys.
Car to be sold as a whole vehicle, no breaking of parts.

Passenger Front door occasionally pools water on door sill. Water can enter car if door not opened frequently
Some paint work scratches, stone chips and cosmetic wear and tear as you would expect from a daily driver of this age

Good luck with the sale, £1250 seems a very reasonable amount for someone who wants a small project with some issues to iron out.

I've had a number of questions (some I'm not 100% sure were serious):

1. What is the lowest price you'll take for the car?
Please make an offer based on what YOU think the car is worth. I won't be offended, but I may politely decline a low ball offer.
However I am open to offers, and will re-consider any previous offers once I've gauged interest in the car. You may get a bargain after all!

2. Would you consider a part ex, as I need to car downsize / expecting a baby / buying a house / lost my job.
No sorry, unless it's a 2024+ CUPRA Leon 300 VZ 2/3 with low mileage

3. What exact fuel additives do you use?
Fuel Additive (each tank) I used to use: Archoil AR6900-D MAX, then moved onto Oilsyn Diesel Power DNA

System Cleaner (pre-MOT) I used to use:
Archoil AR6400-D MAX, then moved onto combination of Oilsyn CarbonCode Diesel Doctor, Oilsyn DPF & Turbo Doctor

4. Can you meet me at X, Y or Z?
No, if you are serious you will travel to me. Happy to pick up from any of Warrington's train stations.

5. Can you fill the car up with Costco Premium Diesel if I buy it?
More than happy to, but you'll need to pay for it either in advance or I'll take you on the day of purchase.
It's just a cheaper version of BP Ultimate Diesel or Shell V-Power Diesel.
Or is it the £1.50 Costco Hotdog and Soda you want?

6. Do I need insurance to test drive your car?
Yes - whether that be covered under your existing car insurance policy, or temporary cover.
My current insurance provider doesn't allow me to drive other cars unless named on the policy, so please check yours.
I'll need to see evidence of insurance and your driving licence.

7. Can you drive the car for me, with me as a passenger?
I'm more than happy to! And no, it's not an odd request as I've done it before towards the end of a test drive in the past.

8. What payment methods will you accept?
Cash preferred. I'll consider bank transfer but only if it's from a bank account in your name.
No bank transfers from a friend / family member, and no to Paypal etc I'm afraid.
