also, what brands would you use? samco for the turbo intake? not sure if I want to splash out so much for a forge FMIC unless I can pick one up a bit cheaper, what do you think gaz?

most people who dont have money go for the universal kit off ebay but you do have to either get stronger clips or bead the pipework to stop the hoses blowing off.
so many choices out there most of us use forge, some samco, some autobahn 88 all up to price and what you want to pay.

also get a forge 007p dump valve will help keep the boost up as standard dv's allow blow by after a while

mines running claimed 220bhp, revo stage 1, fmic, milltek cat back, carbonio cold air induction, 007p dv, n279 by pass. get a boost guage installed and youll know where your boosting now and then you should boost around 18psi when all mapped

Mine is running 201bhp with a turbo back exhaust, Forge turbo intake pipe, jetec air filter Forge FMIC (forge hose kit) and a revo stage 2.

Currently searching for a k03s turbo to match the power of my old cupra :)

Alot of folk with 1.8T engines are running those mods safely, regular services and good maintance and it should be sweet. Reaching above the 240-250bhp mark you might want to "consider" internal work.
