Hi there, need a bit of help!
Randomly had the Glowplug light start flashing at me a couple days ago, pulled over and stopped and started my car about 4 times to see if it would go away, unfortunately then the engine light illuminated!

VAGCOM gave codes of 15984/P3601...which meant unknown error! Grrrrr! He then reset the system, engine warning light went away, but came back soon after, but Glowplug flash remained.

I can confirm that I have checked all break lights and indicators. I have found a little information pointing to the MAP sensor which could be the issue, I have removed, cleaned, and refitted the sensor and no joy. Does anyone know exactly what these error codes mean, as I am struggling to find a definitive answer online, and don't want to buy a new sensor if it's not required!

Thanks in advance!

Map sensor! The one under the engine cover, £20 part on eBay from Bosch. Replaced in under 5 minutes. However I learnt this after seat shafted me £250 for one! Warning do not run the car with the lights on as your DPF won't regen, I had to also pay for a manual regen from seat!

2011 Ibiza SC 1.2TDI ECO Glowplug light flashing and engine light, fault code...

They didn't specify the charge, basically you should get away without needing one until the DPF light comes on...but ideally get the sensor done asap as if you run without a DPF regen for too long then you can destroy your dpf leaving you with a huge bill!
