The visible rear door handles make the car more appealing to a wider market of clients which is why they will do a 3 door version. If I have read correctly the headlights are going to be standard? The LED ones shown on the car, if that's the case I am well impressed tbh.

Sounds like it from noises today.

Less 'poverty' spec obvious models - but that's sensible practice too, as it'll standardise the parts even more

It's not a bad looking car by any means, but IMO it's just not got the same appeal as the current and pre-fl leon. I'll wait to see what the 3 door version is like but it'd have to be something special to go back to 3 doors

I find this statement particularly interesting........

"It also creates more space in the range for the three-door version, which will have a much sportier appearance. It'll take more styling cues from the IBE, with a lower roofline, wider front wings and a side window line not too dissimilar to that of the new Audi A3. It's expected to get a different name which, in line with the Ibiza range, could be SC."

I think the 3 door is really going to look VERY nice indeed........

I think there's potential for the estate version to look pretty good as well.
