2016 Seat ibiza cupra 1.8 tsi pro sport suspension kit

I have recently purchased a lowering kit off eBay called “pro sport” suspension because I want to get it lowered, these are not electronic like the ones originally on the car, because there is a sport button on my model car when I push the button it makes the suspension stiffer but with this new coil over kit they’re not electronic so a light just comes on the dash, is there some sort of kit I can get or some sort of way to avoid the light coming on the dash? Thanks

Hi - I've got the same car as you and am thinking about getting some new springs and dampers.

The sport button also tightens up the steering and I think alters fake engine sound (symposer), so you'll probably want to keep it in sport mode (for the better steering feel at least), ideally turning on automatically without needing to trigger each time like we have to currently.

I'm sure it's going to be possible to do via the ODB port with an adaptor. I've got one but not tried it on the car yet and not up enough on all the settings these offer. I was going to set up a similar thread when I got round to getting the suspension.

I'm sure someone much smarter than me will be along to advise!

Cheers,

Scott
