Hi Everyone,
First post on here, I’ve looked at many posts but I’m interested to hear about main things to consider having a higher mileage Leon, as looking through posts it seems to be varied and most Leon’s these days of this variant seem to be sitting at the same or more mileage.
Just hit 80k and I’m wondering is there anything I should consider replacing soon or noises I should watch out for?
Only thing I’ve had to replace in my year of ownership is the rear shocks but other than that the car has been fantastic, I’ve had some cracking cars (BMW 430d topping the charts) but this seems to be the most solid of the bunch.
The 1.8 engine in this car is amazing, I do 50 miles commuting on country roads and there’s never an issue with overtaking or any corners, probably explains why the rear shocks needed done!
Any tips or things to watch out for is greatly appreciated!
