2021 Ibiza Creaking From Rear

Car has developed an intermittent creaking when driving on smooth flat roads or cornering at low speeds

Don't think it' suspension as when go over bumps no noise.

Think it might be the rear boot lid flexing as previous car I owned rubber lid mounts could be adjusted to tighten the lid but I noticed the lid mounts for the Ibiza are not adjustable

Anyone else experienced this

If it’s body flexing, then lubricating the rubber seals around the doors and tailgate usually stops the creaking noises. The two products that get mentioned most on VW forums for lubricating rubber seals are Gummi Pflege and Krytox. The latter is very expensive but a little goes a long way and seemingly, the effects last longer than with Gummi Pflege.

I've been looking at Krytox. There seems to be two for the job either GPL105 or GPL107

Any ideas which one they'd recommend

Not used it personally, but this discussion thread seems to suggest GPL105 is the ‘official’ Krytox product that carries the logos of the various VAG brands.

As mentioned it's the rubber seals slightly rubbing around the doors as the body flexes when driving.

Also I found the window glass flexes against the rubber seals also and creaks.

But tbh, why drive around in silence listening for noises, all cars make some noises. Pop some tunes on and you won't notice it.
