Anarchy whats your engine code? Being a newer FR 1.4tsi?

Mines CAXC -which require ecu removal, an expensive procedure by superchips. Thats why i said no no. Even though the map was a good price for the gains +30bhp and 40-50nm from early in the rpms..!!!!

Other tuners offer it for free. Ill be going APR hopefully on the next sale (or the one after that)

Ahh I didn't know a box doesn't alter the flash readings, thats a positive then! Although I wouldn't be too bothered about flash numbers, APR re-set mine so it was undetectable, and my seat dealership said they couldn't use flash numbers as evidence of a remap ( their opinion). But if it worrys you then a box seems the way to go :)

Thier new diagnosis machine picks it up straight away and having already been down that route and having to buy a new ecu before they replaced the turbo im just going to get a box for now until warranty is up then I can go and get my free map from celtic tuning :)

Had to pay labour for diagnosing problem and ecu because they fixated them selves on its the remap thats the problem after doing supposedly a weeks worth of tests even though they said them selves it was the turbo at first, then with new ecu in it started going wrong again after a week (I suspect that they freed up the turbo actuator as this was the problem but started sticking again) so I dropped it off again and it took another week and another half a tank of fuel to finally fit a new turbo under warranty just because the actuator is part of the turbo. I did get my old ecu back which I tried to get remapped again but seat royaly f**ked it up and the cheaky t**ts charged me for new anti tamper bolts but they didn't even refit the cage which when I questioned they said they wouldn't of refitted cage as its had a new ecu and they didn't know anything about the bolts? ?? To wich I said im never buying from this garage nor seat again. The only problem is ive already paid for 3 years servicing and an mot

Sorry to hear it. If seat say it was the remap, and they can provide proof or a report, couldnt you take it to the remap company who usually have a warranty for this kind of stuff?

And your still mapping... AWESOME GUY

Well at first I took the ecu to the tuners as agreed with seat and when they plug it in there was all sorts of incription on it its taken them till now to get as far as they can but cant get the immobiliser to work but it kinda proved it wasn't the map when the car was back in a week later but they won't give me my money back nor a good will gesture like I suggested all labour bar an hour for fitting an ecu which I thought was fair but all they said was it could of been the map even though before I mentioned money I said the car is better than when it was new as it was alway jerky when pulling off and you had to rev it so it didn't stall but hey who am I to complain and regards mapping that won't be until warranty is up but I am looking at tuning boxes which intercept data from sensors then adjusts it before it goes to ecu just a better version of a resistor in a box lol butjust as much as a remap !! Lol like this one http://www.racechip.de/en/chiptuning/seat/leon/1p/1-4-tsi-92kw/index.php I was looking at the ultimate as gives good gains just trying to find it cheaper

All seems a bit mad to me! Unless SEAT can provide hard evidence to say that your remap caused the problems with your car, then take them to court, if they can't prove it then they haven't got a leg to stand on!

But I logged on their system that the ecu was modified the garage didnt even know until they tried to consult seat and if I tried court I think id lose as they could just say it was modified which breaks the warranty so I should have paid for the turbo and plus they have more money/better lawyers lol

That tuning box does have good gains. But why have they got 3 different outputs at different prices....

Might be connection basic one probably only connects to fuel sensor whereas best connects to multiple eg boost pressure airflow fuel and also has a better processor for working things out quickly so no lag/damage

And why do they think they can get 224 out a 170 without the dpf removing? Sounds a bit fubar mate, use someone that dtuk not some unknown

Edit, your petrol ignore my dtuk comment, still, I wouldn't trust those figures

They seem to be on Amazon and ebay but I think there just giving generic percentage gains so doesnt look particularly model specific
