312mm Brake upgrade advice

Hi everyone,

I have searched and read her and on the skoda forums about the 312mm brake upgrade for my 2010 Cupra.

Does anyone know the part numbers of the callipers and the carriers needed for this upgrade?

Can I use my current carriers?

I might be wrong, in which case sorry for posting this reply, but I thought that you only needed to replace the carriers and discs, without replacing the carriers, the callipers will be at the wrong position and not fit over the new discs - you are only upgrading the brakes from 288mm to 312mm?

Seems there are two types of 312mm VAG callipers

Do both work?

Here’s a thread about them already on the forum.
I believe the main difference is whether they are off a 4wd/quattro running gear or a Fwd. You will want ones from a fwd for a direct fit without adapters. This is the information I can remember reading about, but I’ve not got 100% knowledge!

Swap 255/288 -> 310 U need carriers 451, bouth callipers are good.
