From what I can tell, the 109 and 409 relays were not fitted to the Mk2 Leon, only the Mk1.

The 109 (T30 supply, J317) was replaced with 100 and the 409 (Fuel Pump, J17) was replaced with 395.

Your engine code should be BMM for the PD140 or BMN for the PD170. It should be on the sticker on the boot floor or on the inside of the Service Book cover.

It'll be a BKD engine if it's a 140 :)

What's the problem with your car? Or is there none?

Hi the problem with the car is that when you turn the ignition the glowplug light on the dash will not light up and the car will not start, however after turning the ignition on and off loads of times sometimes the glowplug light will come on and the car will start like a brand new one !! and run perfect until you turn it off then it will begin again....so far i've had a new glow plug relay £70 4 brand new Glow plugs....and if anything its getting worse...40-50 turns on and off before the glow pug lamp will come on....its the mrs car and shes driving me nuts as shes got no wheels !!

Have you not tried the main ecu relay in the engine bay?

No mate have you got a part number for it ? and just out of interest is the glowplug relay also in the engine bay ? the reason i ask is the relay my mechanic changed was in the engine compartment i'm sure he said it had 9 pins on it ??
