Not tried it but 42 Draft stuff does look good and the engine cover bolt kit is good since i have a couple of bits on my LCR! Tough to get shipped here tho no uk importer, i had to use a chap in ireland, see their website for international suppliers.

that looks like a decent bit of kit, but didn't blueflame have problems with the DP cracking when there were welds around the top part, or does that not matter as this on is in a few parts?

i mean if there is any different in the position or design of the exhaust system on the TT compared to the LCR which may effect where the downpipe bolts onto the exhaust systems.
(ie if you put this on a LCR will the exhaust line up with it ok).

Im thinking it should be ok, just thinking outloud.

Founded from ebay this and there said that it will fit to lcr. ATP-tuning seems to be one of the 42 Draft Design distributor so it is same item.

Is the exhaust offset down the centre line of the car on th LCR?

It will be on the TT to miss the prop shaft running down the tunnel......

i dont know the answer, but thats what i was getting at. :)

ok so my german isnt that good... does the german kit include both the cat and non-cat pipes?

so thats about £483 from the ue
or
about £367 from the us.

I send email and got answer from 42 draft design. They say that they cannot guarantee that it will fit as they have never been able to test their product on lcr. Maybe I go then blueflame exhaust...

pipewerx were selling DP's with race cats for just over £300 on ebay a while back. and blueflame are selling the whole turbo-back system for under £600

that doesn't seem like such a bargain after all.

Yes, it looks good but price is way too much

i thought it was competitive. the downpipe and cat is normally the expensive bit, so if the downpipe and cat is about £480 then thats probably equivalent to a little more than the Blueflame.

As fitting can cost a bit, id rather fit one the one time only..

oh comparing it to blueflame is (no offence to blueflame) comparing to the lower end of the market.
this system would be way way cheaper than the piper system or others like miltek.

this one how ever would be loads easy to fit as it comes in seperate parts
so i recon you should be able to save a packet with fitting the 42 draft one
either by fitting it yourself or even at a garage

ive got some more detail of these units.
They advise fitting of upgraded engine mounts to prevent excessive movement stresses on it. Although they say they provide a 1 year warranty that covers pretty much anything.

I asked about the car seeing its from the US, and they confirmed the cat is 400 cell although they admit they have been considering offering other options.

Anybody know what a stock cat would equate to cell wise?
