-50 degrees??

Evening all,

Driving home today in really crap weather as you'd expect from England, when suddenly the outside temperature displays -50 degrees!

After a while it came back up to +15 degrees (which I still think was wrong).

Just wondered why this could of happened and if anyone else has experienced something similar?

Did a search but didn't find anything close to what I had today.

lol yeah common fault, outside temp sensor gone...just had mine replaced on my ibiza yesterday, cost me £20. Mine was saying it was +58 degress though :

It's located quite low down next to the fog light. I'd give it a while to dry out before replacing as it could just be waterlogged if you've been going through a load of puddles?

Funny you should mention that....Had to go through some very deep puddles due to some roads being completley flooded. Drove really slowly so presumably its that'll be the cause then?

If not, I'll get another one. At £20 im not going to moan too much
