when the water pump has gone, obviously need to change the water pump, and a full cam belt kit including tensioners and rollers, because they wont last the life of two cambelts. and while the cambelt is off, because the water pump runs off the cambelt then it may aswell be changed as it doesnt make sense putting the old one back on. where did you get the quote, seat? that seems around about a seat dealer price. it can be done for £ 200, a OE Gates powergrip cambelt kit (which is the one of the best quality cambelts used on nearly all vehicles as OE) is around £ 85 + the water pump at around £ 25. plus a few hours labour.. 2.. Plus g12 anti freeze. Makes a good £ 200 quid and still profit in the job so dont see why the £ 350. thats around 240 quid in profit, labour. bit expensive when you break it down..

a place in bournemouth, just a local garage, good reputation but does seem high.. hmmm maybe a quick call in the morning to say lower the price or i'll go else where, then again going else where means filling the radiator every mile as the pressure release thingy is letting water out cos of the build up of pressure (i think)
