I've decided to put my car up for sale as I have had it for 5 years and decided I want something else.
I will soon put a section in the for sale section with a list of mods and good bits and bad bits.

I'm hoping to get around £4100. All mods and standard parts included.

Hi all,

Been on here a short while with out posting any pictures of my car. Did some work on it yesterday so I thought I would show you what I've got!

In need of a clean though!

Painted Calipers and Drums, also painted the wheel bolt covers as they had turned white!

Sprayed front badge (had difficulty getting it on though..I can't get it back far enough to get the retainers in.)

And my rear badge, Also installed a spoiler but that was a while back now as well as an S2000 aerial I had on my polo.

Next on the list will hopefully be lowering springs.

May de-wiper the rear, but not sure yet!

I'm gonna have to eventually do my rear drums, bloody things are rusting.

Thanks . Pretty happy with it so far! Looking for some more info on which springs to go for. I keep seeing PI springs, but there so cheap that I'm not sure what to think of them!

I'm looking at h&r springs 25/40 drop. Makes it sit level.

I would want the rear to sit higher to compensate for passengers. Might go 35 all round. Most have Apex springs, looks like a good choice.

Ah thats a good thing to think about with the 5dr.

I'd say 30/35mm for you then as a safe bet.

Also, think de-wipered would look good on the black ibiza. Wouldn't wanna do mine as I use it too much lol.

Trying to find a 30/35 kit lol.

De-wipered my polo, and never missed it at all. I have a rubber grommet for the time being, but will invest in a glass replacement.

Not sure you will find one lol, I just meant either 30 all round or 35 all round would be good.

But like you said before, Apex 35mm will leave you sitting about 2 inches or so off the wheel which is pretty good I'd say.

maybe instead of de-wipering you could find a polo aero wiper arm. Looks alot more slimmer and suits the car better.

Im looking for one at a cheap price

You wont need to keep rear up to compensate for passengers on springs. Im lowered about 45mm on mine and my tyres are bigger and wider than standard (215/45/17). They didn't scrub at the back even with 3 fat mates in the back.
Scrubs now with any passengers in rear but thats because i have 20mm spacers on.

I think you'd be completely fine with 40 - 45mm drop all around and it wont scrub, plus it would look wicked

Regarding the springs, what size rims do you have? What's springs are you using?

Noticed after we discussed the other day (pretty sure it was you lol) about the boot handle that you've done it, how long did it take you in the end?

Not long at all, maximum was 2-3 days. I put it back together and decided to spray over the top of the plastic insert.

How did you go about opening the boot for that time?

Not sure what colour mine would look better as, black to match everything else and IBIZA letters on the back or white with black insert.

I put the handle back on without the "S" and insert. 5 min job. Hmm. White would look cool!

hmmm, i'm kinda thinking you should spray the black bits white and the shiny bit black.

Defo needs doing, looks odd being chrome on the back now.
