6J Engine Swap

Good evening all!

Does anybody know if its been done/possible to swap a mk1 TT 225 engine into a 6J Ibiza.

I know the Leon Cupra and the mk1 S3 use the same engine so I'm hoping it's a swap thats possible and not too expensive. Would love to use the 4wd system off the TT and use it on the 6J but that's a big job I know.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated

afternoon mate, I’m doing the same thing, 225 TT are only Quattro, so you would need a Leon 225 or something, also, probably better getting a 180, this is the route I’m going. I’m hoping to find someone to make me some engine mounts as I haven’t got a clue how it’s fitting it, I’ll keep you updated with my progress, If you have gotten anywhere with it then please let me know
