There's been an issue with the door locking pin on my cordoba since picking it up last week. It didn't sit flush in the door when locked and felt loose, however still went up and down with the central locking. So I decided to take a little look, it wobbled quite a lot and fell off when I tried to put the door card back on and it started to rain. luckily the central locking still works on it so it's all boxed up with a locking rod rattling around in the bottom of the door.

I assume some thing(s) is missing that's meant to secure it but it was bucketing it down so couldn't look at the drivers side to compare. Does anyone have any ideas or picture that could help.

Alternatively does anyone know of a blank that might fill the hole but still look oem? Don't really want to do this because I like the option to lock if the central locking stops working.

The later fr's and possibly Cupra models came with a blank in place of where the pin would be on older models, so you should be able to pick a blank up through a dealer or ebay.

As it happens, I have a set of cards with blanks lying around in my bedroom

Part numbers you require are:

6LO 867 109 - passenger side
6L2 919 238A - drivers side with red LED

The LED flashes when the car is deadlocked, it's not an alarm thing, mine doesn't have an alarm fitted.

It doesn't seem to be a facelift or FR/Cupra thing either, my bog standard 54 plate 1.2 has the above.
