Anyone know if 8.5Jx19 ET48 alloys would fit a 2017 facelift leon? They are off an Audi tt 2010 plate.

From what I have found so far it looks like the center bore and PCD are all the same on the Audi Tt and Leon (thought would be the case all being under VW group) just wanted to see if anyone could confirm

You need to add in the tyre size, but below is a like for like comparison with the Cupra 19" wheels/tyres. Most people will go 10mm spacer at the front and 15mm at rear with standard Cupra wheels, so technically there is room. 5 x 112mm PCD, 57.1mm bore is standard for VAG MQB platforms. Only issue is the clearance from inner spokes on 340mm or 370mm front brake set ups on the Cupra - if they are from a TTRS, then no problem.

In addition to checking www.willtheyfit.com, it’s also useful to check some of the online alloy wheel retailer websites. If you input details of your car and filter the results of suitable wheels by diameter and width, you’ll be able to see if any have an offset of ET48.

I’ve just done this for a 2017 Leon FR facelift on the Rimstyle website and the search results do include alloys that are 8.5J x18” ET48 - see screen shot below;

I found some Audi TTRS alloys too which are 19inch alloy. But the center bore is 66.6mm whereas my Leon center bore is 57.1mm. So just under 10mm difference. The PCD is the same. Would the 10mm difference be a big problem or would these still be okay so you think?

Thank you for your help! Just found another set too but the center Bore on them is just under 10mm bigger than my center bore on my Leon. Same spec as the other alloys just not sure if 10mm will make much of a difference and cause any issues

You can buy a set spigot rings of the appropriate size that fit inside the centre bore of the Audi alloys to reduce the centre bore size to the correct size (57.1) for your car. Without spigot rings, there’s a risk you may get some vibration through the steering - similar to the vibration you’d get with unbalanced wheels.

That sounds like it could work. Do you know best place for spigot rings at all and are they costly?

I’ve never bought any but they’re not expensive - just a few pounds for a set of four. If your Google ‘spigot rings 66.6 to 57.1‘ you should find there are lots of places that sell them. Best to buy them from a site where you input your vehicle details as well as the size required to ensure they’ll fit correctly on both the wheels and the centre of your car’s hub assemblies.

I just buy my spigot rings from eBay. Same specs that came with my winter wheels in Germany.

Just type "66.6 to 57.1" in the search bar - MTEC ones will be ok. Go for the plastic over metal ones to prevent dissimilar metal (galvanic) corrosion. I normally buy two sets as the tabs that fix them to the alloy can often snap or become brittle over time.
