8" active subs

hi everyone

looking at getting a little sub as current system is delivering next to no bass at all. running focal components up front and focal coaxial in the rear with a alpine headunit. any bass i can get out of the system is in the rears which i feel is putting to much undue pressure on them

idealy one of those underseat subs as we use the boot a lot however i am considering the possability of the alpine SWE-815 which looks fairly compact and i'm certain it'll out perfrom any underseat type

Has anyone ever heard the vibe optisound auto 8 or recommend anything else

Chuck the spare wheel and buy a can if tyre weld. That's what I did. Built a tubed light weight mdf box that houses a jl audio w12.

I'd say custom made box in the boot with either your Alpine or a JL Audio.

hello agian peeps

decided on the alpine-swe-815 with a quick connector for power so it can be removed quickly, anyway is it possible to use the main power connecters under the steering wheel for the power??

the power leads supplied are not that heavy and has only a 10amp blade fuse on the cable??
