im after a ibiza cupra and have found a standered 1 with 81k on the clock. would this miliage affect the performance of something like a new turbo, intercooler, revo, if you get what i mean. im new to all this turbo larky. cheers dan

if its looked after it shouldn't make that much difference imo. but i'm biased as mines on 95k! had a full top end rebuild under warrenty at 51k though from Seat! nowt wrong with mine!

audi/vw engines run and run, mines perfectly fine and its 78ish last time i checked!

bought mine on 60k two year ago and its on 87k now and its still as good as when i got it two year ago except minor faults what you get with any car any way...

Mines In the 80's and the only problem ive had is that the temp sender was knackered! new seat one for 4 quid on ebay and its never missed a beat since! Go for it Dan

Mines quite young at the moment still only 69k on the clock...Had mot recently the guy said it was like new you get your minor problems like maf's, coilpacks, thermostats...but if its been serviced well and looked after no it should be fine...

Mine is on 105774 and still going strong just had cambelt and water pump done at amd and they think it's fine. It's also going back next week for a revo free trial:D.

Ah the revo trial i remember when i had mine bored as hell with it now its ran out so its gettin re-mapped with it asap...

where bouts in essex are you...?

Bought mine over a year ago with 60k on it, and revo stage 1 had been on there for about 6months on 71k now and its fine. Been serviced when it should and looked fater very well. On k03s revo 2 now and it still loves it. VAG over enginered the 1.8t's and most of their engones so they are pretty bullet proof reliability wise (famous last words) so i dont see why it should go fine if you started modding it now.

DO IT!

@s1l3nc3r i'm in sunny southend i can't afford the remap this month after the cambelt waterpump and a new tyre this month .

mines just hit 87k and it still purrs like a kitten! Serviced every 5 & 10k and it having the k03s treatment very shortly...

Yeah they will last a long time if serviced and treated well
