A lot to work through

Hi...
Today I picked up my new Alhambra 2.0 TDI 150PS DSG Xcellence. After the 90min drive home from a very friendly dealer in the black country I have already decided that once I figure out how all the toys work it will prove to be a great choice. However, the figuring out might take a little bit more doing than I had hoped.

In keeping I guess with most manufacturers the multi page owners manual is leaving me with as many unanswered questions as reasonable answers. There seems to be many sections of the book that seem to be, what look like, references to older/previous /different trim levels. Although the reference date on the back showing 13 - 7 - 2019 there are too many '* if fitted' listings. I have looked at the online e-manual which seems to be the same.
A couple of examples are related to the Park Assist System. There are 2 different buttons illustrated on the centre console one with a P and a steering wheel the other with a P and a triangle. They both are described as system controls but their effects are unclear. I see the second one referring to mode one and mode two and on a different page there is a picture of the main screen showing symbols of parallel parking and horizontal spacing. How to activate either one or the other I can't figure out.

As the car is fitted with pretty much everything 'keyless' my wife tried to find info on manual key use as there have been 2 provided. Up to now we have only found details of using the key blade to manually lock the doors but not how to open them again or start the car. Suggestion is call a dealer. I presume this covers fob battery failure.

One more daft question, should the mirrors fold in when the car is locked...?

Some of these questions may have answers in the book by the time I get to page 350 I hope so. If not I will be revisiting this forum and become the 'pain in the neck'. I have had a Tucson and a CRV both equipped with lots of the sophisticated tools featured on the Hammy so I have had experience of the functionality.

Any guidance welcomed.... Thank you.
